- We now have seeds so we can grow our first crop of flowers thanks to Rod Gilbert from Joint Base Lewis McChord and the nearby Prairie Restoration Project.
- Tentative site has been selected and the GPS coordinates have been provided to city of DuPont
- Communications with Mayor Grayum and City Administrator Masko continue on next steps
- The site will need to be prepared to remove all non-native plants (mostly grass & Scot's Bloom) will need to be prepared
- Seeds will be grown off-site in another location. First crop will be used to increase seed quantity, then will be planted again, off site.
- No city staff time will be utilized nor will any storage space or water during or after installation.
- During the second year the plants will be installed at our first site in DuPont.
